Determination
We believe determination is the disciplined commitment to growth, healing, and purposeful living.
Faith
We believe faith is the foundation that strengthens resilience, nurtures hope, and reminds us that God is faithful in every moment.
Growth
We believe growth requires courage, discomfort, and honesty—and we honor it as a transformative part of healing.
Patience
We believe patience allows us to embrace the unfolding process of emotional, spiritual, and personal refinement.
Wisdom
We believe wisdom is the practice of noticing, learning, and integrating the lessons your life continues to reveal.
Many of the women who come to Restorative Oasis have already tried to “fix” things on their own. Therapy. Journaling. Self-help books. Podcasts. Deep breaths in the car before work.
And still — the same cycles keep repeating.
They’re exhausted from holding everything together while feeling disconnected from themselves. These are the women who grew up seeing strength modeled as silence — who learned early to manage emotions privately, keep moving, and stay “fine” even when they were hurting.
They’re wives, mothers, professionals, students, firstborn daughters — women who’ve mastered functioning under pressure. But underneath all that competence is years of avoidance, suppression, and compartmentalizing — not because they didn’t care, but because they never had the space or safety to feel.
Their anxiety looks like overthinking or overworking.
Their depression hides under responsibility.
Their avoidance looks like staying busy so they don’t have to slow down.
And their emotional pain shows up in the body as fatigue, irritability, shutdown, or that constant sense of “I’m carrying too much.”
They come to therapy when something in them finally whispers: "I can’t keep doing it this way.” Not because they’re broken —
but because they’re ready for something different than survival.
Restorative Oasis is the place where the women who’ve carried everything can finally set something down.
Women often come to therapy seeking clarity, relief, or a sense of finally feeling like themselves again — and those things are possible. But they don’t come through shortcuts. Real trauma work asks more of you than attendance — it asks for honesty, patience, and the courage to let go of survival-mode habits It’s the work of slowing down long enough to notice what you’ve spent years outrunning, unlearning patterns that once kept you safe, and choosing honesty over avoidance — even when avoidance is what you’ve always known.
Therapy isn’t instant relief or a quick shift into a new version of yourself. Some sessions feel steady. Some feel uncomfortable. Some feel like nothing is moving at all. This process requires emotional presence, patience, consistency, and willingness — not perfection, not performance, not pretending.
Some women discover that once they begin the deeper work, they aren’t ready to sit with everything that surfaces. That realization is not failure; it’s self-awareness. But the women who stay — the ones who allow themselves to lean in at a pace that feels manageable and grounded for them — begin to experience changes that last. They become more centered, more attuned to themselves, and less ruled by old survival patterns.
This space is for women who are ready for the real work — the kind that doesn’t just soothe symptoms but moves you toward emotional clarity, steadiness, and a life that reflects who you’re becoming. If you're ready to stop surviving and start healing, this is your place to begin.
I’m not just here to listen—I’m here to walk alongside you as you heal. With years of experience in community mental health and advanced training in trauma therapy, I bring both professional expertise and lived understanding to the work we’ll do together.
